Almond Icing

Ingredients:

1 lbs self-raising flour

1 lb castor sugar (or 1.2 castor & 1/2 sieved icing sugar)

1 teaspoon almond essence

2 tablespoon whiskey or sherry

a squeeze of lemon juice

1 eggs (Keep some egg white to brush cake)
